The pie of the day was one of the tastiest meals out I've had.Google review
Llandudno's oldest pub, at the foot of the Great Orme.
Real ales, home-cooked food and a proper Sunday roast, right next door to the Great Orme Tramway. An open fire inside, a beer garden outside, dogs welcome — and rated 4.5 by more than 1,800 guests on Google.

A look inside
This is where your own photos go — the bar, the fire, a roast landing on the table and the tram pulling in next door.
Llandudno's oldest pub, and still the place to end the day
The Kings Head is the oldest pub in Llandudno, and it sits at the foot of the Great Orme right beside the tramway's lower station. It's a traditional, family-run pub in the proper sense: real ales on the pumps, an open fire when the weather turns, and a beer garden for the days it doesn't.
The food is home-cooked from local ingredients — pies, fish and chips, bangers and mash, and a Sunday roast one reviewer called "the best Sunday lunch in North Wales". There's live music through the year, quiz nights, a chess club on Friday afternoons and a bluegrass jam on Tuesdays — and dogs are as welcome as their owners.
